On Tour Near You

Their music weaved its magic across the world and epitomised the 1960’s and the flower power movement.  They sold an incredible 100 million records world-wide in their short but turbulent history.

Now 40 years after the tragic death of Mama Cass Elliot, CALIFORNIA DREAMING – THE MUSIC OF THE MAMAS AND THE PAPAS is a tour de force concert celebrating all things Mamas and Papas – their lives, their loves and their music in a fully scripted, choreographed production that will leave you wanting more.

Led by Rachel Dunham, back in Australia after selling out shows in New York with her Off-Broadway hit ‘Oprahfication’ and joined on stage by Jersey Boys and GodWolf star Joe Kosky, musical theatre director and cabaret crooner James Cutler and songstress Alana Tranter, together with a sizzling four piece band, CALIFORNIA DREAMING will take you back on a memory-laden trip with songs like:  I Saw Her Again, Dream a Little Dream, Monday Monday, Creeque Alley, San Francisco and of course the iconic California Dreamin.

Part concert, part biography and set on a stage reminiscent of the Ed Sullivan Show, you will hear songs that were either written or sung by the group including those made famous by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Rogers and Hart, The Righteous Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and even The Beach Boys in this action packed concert.

With 26 songs spanning 3 years and 5 albums, you’ll soon be dancing in the street to the unforgettable sounds and harmonies of The Mamas and the Papas as the stars of CALIFORNIA DREAMING make their own kind of music on this, their Australian Tour.
